We are searching for a Quality Laboratory Technician to join our local SHEQ team on a maximum term contract (12 months) working 12 hours days on a day and night shift pattern. This role will be based at our Kemerton plant and is responsible for covering laboratory and pigment sample analysis activities.Benefits IncludeCompetitive remuneration including Shift Allowance5 weeks of Annual LeaveEven time roster working 7 shifts every 14 daysAbout the RoleAs a Quality Laboratory Technician, you will report to the Quality Lab Leader and provide technical support to Operations in a QA/QC function. This will be achieved through process and product sample testing, to ensure required quality standards are maintained in the business. Duties will include:Laboratory Techniques: Conducting sample prep, instrumental testing and related tasks in a QA/QC environment following standard instructions and schedulesInstrumentation Skills: Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.Quality Control: Understanding of quality control principles and experience in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations applicable to manufacturing processes.Data Analysis: Competency in collecting, and interpreting data obtained from laboratory experiments and tests, and the ability to generate accurate reports.
