SS/VMO in General Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine - Wingham Community Hospital
Fixed term 0.8FTE 12-month opportunity

We are searching for an experienced General/Rehabilitation Physician to join a collaborative and well‑established team. The role is split between General Medicine allowing you to provide services to inpatients on the admitting general wards, ICU, HDU and Emergency Department patients; and also as a Rehabilitation Physician. Participation in the General Medicine after‑hours/on‑call roster is not required for this role but may be negotiated separately depending on qualifications, credentialing status and service needs.
Candidates Must Have
* A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
* Advanced Training in Rehabilitation Medicine and extensive clinical experience.
An eligibility list may be created for suitably qualified Vocationally Registered General Practitioners (FRACGP/FACCRM) with inpatient or subacute/hospital experience. Please contact our dedicated Senior Medical Recruitment if you would like to obtain a Position Description or discuss further.
