Auslan Teacher - Cobblebank Campus 2027
Join the growing team at St Francis Catholic College as an Auslan Teacher and play a meaningful role in launching the Auslan program at our Cobblebank Campus, following the program's great success at our Melton Campus. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a passionate and engaging educator who is committed to fostering inclusive education, communication, and deaf awareness within a vibrantly faith‐filled learning community.
Working collaboratively with colleagues, the Auslan Teacher will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement, while supporting individual student learning needs through diverse teaching strategies and contemporary digital resources. The role also includes maintaining compliance with child safety requirements, curriculum standards, and professional responsibilities, including accurate student monitoring and attendance processes.
VIT registration and relevant teaching qualifications are required. Commencing January 2027, this is a full‐time, ongoing position.

* Appropriate expertise and experience in the areas of Teaching & Learning.
* Demonstrated experience in leading best practice in the management of people and resources.
* Demonstrated ability to build capacity in others.
Skills & Experience Required
* Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent).
* A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the College.
* Ability to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomes.
* Ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
* An eagerness to learn.
Special Requirements

* Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
* Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.
