Our client is an established business, operated by its current owners since 2004. 7kms from the city in the inner western suburbs, it is an old-school workshop with modern equipment. Your job will be interesting, not boring, there will be something different to do every day.
Qualifications
- Trade qualified, Cert III Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic.
- Good work ethic and attention to detail. You are reliable and motivated.
- Good communication with fellow staff and management. Ability to follow instructions.
- Proven Diagnostic skills and Safety Certificate Licence an advantage.
- Current Manual Drivers Licence and own tools.
- Not all cars are "plug and play" thinking on your feet and problem solving considered good skills to have.
Responsibilities
- Servicing all makes and models and jobs as per the repair order.
- Brakes, timing belts, clutches, tyres, general mechanics.
- Typical vehicles that come through our workshop, Subaru, Ford, Holden, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai and European. From late model under warranty to vintage and pre 1980 classics.
