Project Finance Business Partner - Tender Management for Private Equity Backed Health Care Provider
**The Company**
An opportunity to join a dynamic private equity backed health care provider based in Melbourne as a Project Business Partner. This exciting opportunity is a 6-month temporary role, reporting directly to the CFO.
Due to ongoing workload in business as usual and projects surrounding tenders and strategic project uplift, we are looking to engage a Project Business Partner to join our existing finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in establishing project accounting forecasts for an upcoming tender. Utilise your expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive the success of our strategic initiatives.
**The Role**
The Project Business Partner will facilitate end-to-end execution of forecast preparation and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Delivering P&L and month end management in the project accounting life cycle from reconciliations / accruals to providing forecasts for strategic projects.
- Correctly define and help Project Managers capture costs in accordance with the clients Capitalisation policy (Capex v Opex).
- Project-related and IT month end accounting requirements; including upload of project actuals into Planview (PPM Tool).
- Analysing and understanding expense streams across different service lines and identifying best practice cost allocation.
- Partnering with Service Line Directors in understanding how they allocate costs and building appropriate cost allocations into the budget.
- Facilitation and maintenance of project spent budgets and forecasts.
- Raise complexities in more complex contracts surrounding lease accounting and labour forecasting.
- Assisting in change management across the organisation in best practice budget management.
**Your Profile**
This project opportunity would suit someone who has worked in project accounting environments in assisting with building tender forecasts and business cases. This person would have exposure to environments through highly laborious industries (Health, Manufacturing, Engineering, Professional Services etc.). This person will have appropriate experience in adapting quickly to change and partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
