About the Role
Group Reservations Agent – primary contact for coordinating, managing, and executing group bookings, from corporate conferences and weddings to tour groups and special events. Ensure every detail is handled with precision, from inquiry to arrival.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate group reservations from initial enquiry through departure
* Liaise with sales, front office, and events teams to ensure smooth execution
* Input and maintain accurate booking data in reservation systems
* Monitor room allocations, rates, contracts, and cut‐off dates
* Prepare rooming lists, reports, and group arrivals
* Handle special requests, changes, and last‐minute adjustments professionally
* Deliver excellent customer service to clients, agents, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hotel reservations, front desk, or events coordination
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously
* Familiarity with hotel PMS systems (Opera Cloud experience highly regarded)
* Group block management
