About The Role
As Senior Category Manager - Petcare, you will have full accountability for the portfolio of products across our business and will develop a winning category strategy to implement across our stores. You will identify growth opportunities within your category and partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver a point of difference for our customer base and increase our share within the market.
Drive results and performance of your categories
Work cross-functionally across Marketing, Operations, Transformation and Strategy
Execute our customer-centric strategy for your categories to shape a legacy for the future
Drive innovation within the category, working closely with the broader Coles Merchandiseteam
Build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, using your negotiation and influencing skills to drive the direction of the category
About You And Your Skills
In this role you will utilise your experience in understanding market share gaps and helping to develop and implement a market-leading plan across this portfolio. A successful candidate will be highly engaged and passionate about the role with well-developed stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated Category Management and/or Merchandise experience within a retail environment
Outstanding influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinking with the ability to operate in a dynamic, customer-driven retail environment
Proven ability to champion and drive change, generate new and meaningful ideas, and drive continuous improvement
Strong commercial acumen
Customer first approach
