Occupational Therapy Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated occupational therapists to provide therapy services to children and families.
As an occupational therapist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals in various settings.
* You will assist children to achieve their development milestones such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
* Educate and involve parents, carers and others to facilitate the development and learning of children.
* Help children with developmental delays learn everyday tasks.
* Help children with behavioural issues maintain positive behaviours in all environments.
Our graduate program is designed to provide a smooth transition into your new role, with high levels of supervision and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children and families.
* Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and adults.
* Collaborate with other health professionals to deliver holistic care approaches.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families and other health professionals.
Requirements:
* A degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Eligibility for AHPRA registration upon graduating.
* A full valid driver's license, with access to your own vehicle with third party insurance.
* A valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain.
* A clear current Police Check, or be willing to obtain.
* NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain.
* First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain.
