Cyber Security Project Coordinator Role
The Cyber Security team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support the Energy Markets Cyber Coordination (EMCC) team as a Project Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate logistics for stakeholder meetings, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and material preparation.
* Manage and maintain Jira boards and Confluence spaces to track workload requests, schedules, milestones, and key tasks across EMCC streams.
* Organize and support internal and external meetings, forums, and workshops, including logistics, materials preparation, and post-meeting action tracking.
* Define, execute, and maintain document version control, risk, and issue registers, and documentation in accordance with AEMO/EMCC governance requirements.
* Monitor the workload pipeline and report on the status of ongoing delivery workload.
* Document and track risks that can affect project quality, scope, time, and budget, in accordance with the project plan and AEMO corporate KPIs.
* Raise and track purchase orders (POs), process invoices, and manage procurement workflows using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) enterprise finance system.
Requirements:
* Strong experience in a project coordination, administrative, or PMO support role, ideally within cybersecurity, energy, or a regulated industry.
* Must have - Procurement and project management; financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in tracking activities across multiple workstreams.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar enterprise systems for raising POs and processing invoices.
* Experience supporting teams using tools such as SharePoint and the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for documenting meetings, reporting, and liaising with stakeholders.
* Familiar with the energy sector, critical infrastructure, or government-related cybersecurity programs.
* Preferred - Knowledge of security control and maturity frameworks relevant to the energy sector. Ability to travel interstate and work flexible hours.
* Must be an Australian citizen with the ability to attain and maintain an appropriate level of national security clearance.
* Tertiary qualifications in computer science, business administration, project management, and/or technology-related fields or equivalent industry experience.
* Desirable - Foundation-level Project Management certifications, for example CAPM, AIM CERT IV or Agile PM.
