Job Description

Total Exhaust Cleaning Contractors offers commercial kitchen and restaurant cleaning services nationwide, providing efficient, cost-effective solutions to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

The company's comprehensive range of services includes kitchen exhaust and rangehood cleaning, coolroom sanitation, duct cleaning, and grease filter maintenance. Utilizing modern technology and cleaning equipment, Total Exhaust Cleaning Contractors ensures the removal of oil and grease from exhaust fans and other kitchen systems, thereby reducing fire hazards and promoting a safe cooking environment.

With HACCP certification, the company adheres to international food safety protocols and provides tailored cleaning schedules to assist businesses in meeting health inspection requirements and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support human resources functions across operations, assisting with processes that align with business goals and compliance obligations
* Assist in coordinating human resources and workplace relations functions, contributing to planning, organisation, and general HR support
* Assist in drafting and maintaining HR policies and procedures to promote compliance and positive workplace culture
* Provide administrative support in workforce planning, performance reviews, and learning and development initiatives
* Assist in managing employee relations by helping to document concerns and facilitate communication between staff and managers
* Assist in organising training sessions, maintaining compliance records, and tracking development activities
* Help update employment records and maintain templates for contracts, compensation data, and benefits documentation
* Assist with WHS documentation and help coordinate related internal communications and workplace safety reminders
* Assist with maintaining HR reports and tracking metrics to identify trends or compliance gaps
* Contribute to internal communications and engagement programs that support a positive workplace culture


Requirements

* Over 3 years of relevant experience in human resources management, preferably within trade, cleaning, or service-based industries
* A formal qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (minimum Bachelor degree or above)
* Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and support operational managers
* Proven ability to manage HR processes under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
* A proactive, solution-focused approach to employee and organisational needs
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner
* A strong understanding of Fair Work legislation, awards, and compliance obligations
* Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety practices and knowledge of WHS legislation relevant to WA
* Experience implementing HR systems and managing employee records with confidentiality and care
* Ability to build a positive workplace culture and drive continuous improvement in HR practices
