Job Description:
This role requires a highly motivated and skilled professional to manage sales strategies, develop regional market share, and meet established sales goals in the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high sense of urgency and organization.
* Establish and develop the regional market share in the assigned territory through effective sales strategies.
* Meet established sales goals for the assigned territory by growing new customer sales or introducing new products and services to existing customers.
* Actively prospect for new customers, establish buying cycles, understand customer needs, and create customer-supplier relationships within the local region.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum High School degree or equivalent.
* 0-5 years of sales experience in the Safety distribution, Industrial distribution, or MRO industries.
* Demonstrated record of success growing, managing, and maintaining a substantial client base in large metropolitan regions and ability to gain market share in an underperforming or new territory.
* Excellent communication, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience with CRM systems.

Others:
This is a full-time, salaried exempt position. The typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. However, based on the needs of the customers and travel required for the territory, these hours may vary.
