We are now seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Controller to take ownership of financial planning, compliance, and analysis across our multi-entity group.
The Role
As our Finance Controller, you will oversee the financial activities of People First Workforce and our affiliated organisations, including People First Healthcare, InOne Healthcare, Ace Renovation Group, and Future Workforce.
This pivotal role will see you managing financial compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management while driving efficiency and supporting informed decision-making at senior leadership level. You'll also lead a motivated finance team to deliver accurate reporting and strong financial governance across the group.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Deliver timely, accurate financial statements and compliance reporting
* Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and risk management strategies
* Manage audits and liaise with external/internal auditors
* Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, procurement, and asset management
* Monitor and optimise cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operations
* Provide insights through data analysis, dashboards, and financial modelling
* Partner with senior leadership to guide strategic and operational decisions
* Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering excellence and accountability
What You Bring
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA desirable)
* CPA, CFA, or CMA qualification highly regarded
* Experience in financial management or Similar role with proven leadership skills
* Experience in Aged Care or NDIS sectors preferred
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance, and audit requirements
* Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
* Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* Additional Requirements
* Full working rights in Australia
* National Police Check (within last 3 months) or willingness to obtain
* Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Minimum two doses of COVID-19 vaccination
