**About the Position**:
Ensure that works are delivered in accordance with the plans, standard drawings and specifications, and compliance legislation
Program and supervise civil infrastructure maintenance with major focus on footpath maintenance
Assess quotes for works to be undertaken by appointed contractors
Provide high quality customer service and respond to customer requests
Manage assigned budgets and provide regular reporting on program & expenditure
Ensure Road Management Plan and asset maintenance standards are adhered to
**Skills and Experience**:
Qualification in fundamentals of construction management, or, substantial experience in supervising civil construction works /relevant Trade qualifications also significant
Practical and systems knowledge of contract and works management
Sound knowledge of OH&S requirement and traffic management principles
Demonstrated ability to program and prioritise works
Advanced communication skills to direct, liaise and discuss work programs, with an ability to persuade, convince and negotiate with others
Customer service experience that demonstrates community care and working collaboratively with others to meet successful outcomes
**Requirement of the position**:
Satisfactory National Police Check; and
Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
