About This Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who has a proven track record of dominating their territory and driving business growth. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will work closely with our executive team to map business solutions to complex security challenges and develop an overall account strategy that drives results.
Main Responsibilities Include
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generating interest, qualifying, developing, and closing deals.
* Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the territory, demonstrating a strong ability to drive business growth.
* Develop and execute a well-planned selling effort into the assigned territory/accounts, leveraging your knowledge of cybersecurity and networking technologies.
* Foster strong relationships with existing customers, driving satisfaction and retention through excellent customer service and support.
* Partner with other teams to achieve joint business outcomes and drive growth through collaboration.
Key Requirements
* A successful track record of selling cybersecurity and networking technologies, including Proxies, Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW), SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO, DLP, and Encryption gateways, with a focus on growing a territory.
* In-depth knowledge of whole-of-government IT reforms, security frameworks (Essential 8, PSPF, ISM), and Federal Government procurement frameworks, panels, and decision-making processes.
* A strong understanding of Federal Government procurement frameworks, panels, and decision-making processes, with established relationships within Federal Government Departments and Agencies.
* An exceptional track record of success with consultative sales of complex enterprise software solutions to C-level executives in the Federal Government, with a focus on delivering value and driving business outcomes.
* A verifiable track record of exceeding quotas year after year, with a proven ability to drive business growth and achieve results.
* Resides in Canberra, ACT, with occasional travel required for regional and interstate meetings.
