Keystone People Solutions is partnering with a leading business in the mining and construction sector to recruit an experienced and hands‐on Senior HR Advisor.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who already understands the pace, structure, and challenges of site‐based or project‐driven environments. You'll be supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding through to engagement, compliance, and performance.
If you've previously worked in mining, construction, or related heavy industry settings and enjoy being close to operations, this role will suit you perfectly.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day‐to‐day HR support across all stages of the employee lifecycle — onboarding, performance, engagement, and compliance.
* Assist with employee relations matters including performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processes (with guidance from senior HR staff).
* Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and templates, supporting system rollouts and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Coordinate recruitment activities — advertising, shortlisting, interview scheduling, and preparing employment documentation.
* Contribute to HR and culture initiatives, including engagement, wellbeing, and recognition programs.
* Manage HR administration including HRIS updates, employee records, and reporting.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in mining, construction, or a related industrial sector is essential.
* Proven background in a generalist HR or HR Advisor role.
* Sound knowledge of HR processes, employment legislation, and site‐based workforce environments.
* Strong communication, organisational, and relationship‐building skills.
* A proactive, hands‐on approach with genuine enthusiasm for supporting people and culture initiatives.
