 
        
        OverviewThe Western Force is a professional rugby union team based in Western Australia competing in the elite Super Rugby Pacific and Super W competitions. 
As an organisation, the Force has a proud history, having been formed in 2004 and making its Super Rugby debut in 2006 at its original home, Subiaco Oval. 
Backed by Tattarang, the club operates at the highest level of sporting professionalism in Western Australia and has a strong presence nationally and internationally.Reporting to the Team Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the operational logistics and administration of the Western Force High Performance Unit, with the goal of delivering expert program support that enhances performance outcomes.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate operational logistics and administration for the Western Force High Performance Unit to deliver expert program support that enhances performance outcomes.Coordinate logistical requirements for day-to-day training activities in consultation with Coaching, Performance and Management staff.Support the Western Force Team Manager to plan and prepare for all relevant team travel and tours.Coordinate logistical and assist Team Manager with changeroom requirements for Western Force Super Rugby Pacific home matches.Coordinate maintenance and cleaning of all equipment and team uniforms.Coordinate facility and field bookings for all High-Performance Unit programs and teams.Assist Team Manager with procurement of equipment, team uniforms and consumables across all High-Performance Unit programs and teams.Participate in and contribute to all High-Performance Unit meetings to provide logistical updates.Attend all training sessions and abide by Western Force policies.Contribute to other duties as required by the General Manager Professional Rugby.Demonstrate familiarity with elite/high-performance sporting environments.Experience managing logistics for travel, tournaments, or training camps.Understand athlete needs, including recovery, performance timing, and confidentiality.Remain calm under pressure, reliable and discreet, with a professional demeanour.Be energetic and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude; willing to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays during events or tours.Qualifications and AttributesPrevious experience in sports team logistics or event coordination is highly desirable.Familiarity with elite/high-performance sporting environments.Robust organisational and communication skills with attention to confidentiality and athlete well-being.Application InstructionIf you believe you have what it takes to be our Logistics Coordinator, please send through a copy of your CV and cover letter.
