About the Role
The Restaurant Manager will oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage outlet, including staff recruitment, training, rostering, and floor management. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing opening and closing procedures for the restaurant.
* Setting up the front-of-house and back-of-house areas for daily service.
* Providing exceptional customer service and utilizing point-of-sale systems efficiently.
* Preparing hot and cold beverages to high standards.
* Leading a team of staff and coordinating break times.
* Maintaining high-quality product and service delivery.
* Ensuring all preparation, cleaning, and maintenance schedules are completed on time.
* Closing the restaurant, including reconciliation of sales and banking.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
* Previous experience in a similar management position.
* The ability to coordinate schedules with projected workflow within budget.
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification and Food Handling Certification.
* Knowledge and understanding of OH&S and chemical handling.
* A flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
