With an expanding fleet and ongoing project demands, we're seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our clients small, dedicated Workshop Team based in Sunbury. About the Role: As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing diverse fleet of heavy machinery. From Piling Rigs, Bobcats, Excavators to Trucks and Trailers, your expertise will help ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently on-site. What You'll Be Doing: Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems Conduct scheduled maintenance on heavy machinery and vehicles Troubleshoot faults and carry out preventative maintenance Keep accurate maintenance records and follow workshop safety protocols Work collaboratively with the operations and site teams to minimise downtime What We're Looking For: Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent) Proven experience working with heavy machinery (preferably in construction or earthmoving) Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and diagnostics Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills HR license (preferred but not essential) What's on Offer: Competitive hourly rate potential for overtime Secure, full-time role in a growing company Supportive team environment with opportunities for upskilling Workshop based in Bulla with occasional on-site work If you're passionate about keeping machines in top shape and want to be part of a company that values quality and teamwork, we want to hear from you!
