As a Solution Architect, you'll proactively and holistically guide the development and management of enterprise solutions.
You'll work across business capabilities, value streams, and processes to ensure technology solutions align with strategic goals and architectural standards.You'll be instrumental in translating business strategy into architectural blueprints, leading solution design and analysis, orchestrating delivery, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.Key responsibilities include :Translate business strategy into solution architecture aligned with enterprise goals.Analyse industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and threats.Provide architectural deliverables to support governance and investment decisions.Lead the design and evaluation of solution architectures across applications and technologies.Develop reference architectures and contextual designs to guide development.Define principles, standards, and patterns to ensure architectural compliance.Support product lifecycle decisions including maintenance, refresh, and retirement.Monitor solution portfolios and recommend improvements.Consult on infrastructure and application development to align with architecture.Facilitate stakeholder engagement and support communities of practice.About You :Proven experience in a similar roleTertiary qualification in technology, engineering, or similar is considered desirableExposure to diverse technologies and platforms.Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management practices.Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.Confident presenting to senior executives and technical audiences.Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.Ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.Exposure to the defence, manufacturing, or shipping industry (ideal but not essential)Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain NV1We believe in hiring for potential.
