Your new company Hays are working with a vital Federal Government agency who contribute significantly to the community to better the lives of thousands of Australians. The agency is currently seeking an APS5 Property Officer to join their property team to be based at their Midland WA office. Your new role Responsibilities include; Be the state-based contact and coordinator for the property service provider, overseeing all property/facility requirements. Security pass management Office management and maintenance Fleet management Deliver in-house property services such as mail, meeting room setups and logistical services Manage subcontractors and outsourced service provider contracts Manage maintenance requests logged with the service provider to ensure completion. Provide input to strategic direction for operational delivery of facilities services Undertake procurement processes inline with Commonwealth procurement rules The role is to work in the office a minimum of 4 days per week. What you'll need to succeed The organisation looks for proactive and personable individuals who demonstrate the ability to show initiative and think forward. For this role, they are also seeking: Experience in a Commercial Property/Facilities-based role Demonstrated ability to work within governance framework, guidelines and procedures Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with a national, growing, diverse team High-level written and verbal communication skills You must be an Australian Citizen and will need to complete a Pre-Engagement Screening Check.
