We are Together Medical Family Practice; a GP clinic in the city of Knox. A vibrant, 4-doctor, 2-nurse medical centre situated adjacent to a pharmacy in the strip mall of Knoxfield.
We are searching for an experienced, professional, energetic and capable medical receptionist to join our team.
Our clinic is already a smooth and productive, lively practice and we need a competent receptionist who:
- Is friendly and can greet patients, take phone bookings and assist in managing scheduling of the doctor's appointment book.
- has excellent communication.
- Is competent to work autonomously, as well as seamlessly fit into our team with other receptionists, practice manager, doctors and nursing staff.
- Maintains a clean and ordered office/desk and can order stock, maintain kitchen supplies and ensure the premises are clean and tidy at all times.
- Is experienced with PracSoft and Medical Director preferably and competent with letter writing. The applicant should be a proficient typist and possess sound computer/online competency.
- Knows how to maintain staff time sheets and liaise with the book keeper to assist with payroll.
- Is able to accurately complete end of day batching of the item codes, and cross check them with Medicare on a daily basis.
- Can also do the banking when necessary.
Generally we require someone with experience working as a medical receptionist preferably in a General Practice setting, minimum 2 years.
We require 2-3 days a week in the roll, preferably Mon
- Wednesday.

Pay: From $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 - 32 per week
