**About the role**
In this pivotal role you will be responsible for building, developing and managing the QLD Sales team, as well as devising and executing growth strategies for the State. Entrenching yourself in a fast paced and lucrative market, an enthusiastic & entrepreneurial mindset will be required to drive growth targets. You will be positioned as the Sales figurehead for the team, leading from the front in terms of managing an existing client base, whilst identifying and developing new business opportunities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team from existing and newly targeted accounts
- Daily interaction with key clients
- Liaising with suppliers
- Leading & developing a dedicated team of Sales Consultants
- Organising regular Sales Meetings
- Help to create Business plans
- Establish relevant reports from all Sales Consultants
- Ongoing training of the sales team
- Budget management
**Skills and Experience**:
- Ability to plan and implement intricate sales strategies and demonstrate effective change management skills in fast-paced B2B markets
- Proven track record in setting, achieving and exceeding KPI's and budgetary targets
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in a previous Sales Management role
- Able to identify potential customers; form, develop and maintain strong, sustainable business relationships
