THE OPPORTUNITY
Here at Norweld, we are continuing to grow our team to keep up with customer demand This means we have an opportunity for a Boilermaker or Welder with experience in aluminium fabrication to join our production facility in Brisbane. You'll enjoy a great work/life balance with a 4-day week and no weekend work, in a new, clean work environment. High level MIG and TIG welding skills are desirable, as you will be responsible for manufacturing and welding Norweld tray and canopy components for high-end vehicle builds, with the support of an experienced team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out welding activities to manufacture, fabricate and repair parts and components
Ensuring trays and canopies are cleaned once work is complete
Undertaking activities in a team environment and meeting safety and production targets
Carrying out inspections and quality control throughout the manufacturing and production process
Ensuring the health and safety of all customers, visitors and team members
Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards
Maintaining workplace cleanliness and tool and equipment care
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Trade certificate (or willing to undertake) and/or relevant experience
Excellent quality of work and time management skills
Current licenses and certificates (including Australian Manual Drivers Licence and Forklift ticket)
Strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-skilled team environment
Sound knowledge of 4x4 Makes, Models and popular accessories and brands (desirable)
Passion for the outdoors, off-roading and camping is a plus
