Job Summary
This is a fixed-term, full-time position that will contribute to the Tribunal by providing legal and administrative support to the President.
The successful candidate will be responsible for making proper and accurate records of Tribunal proceedings, undertaking legal research tasks and projects as directed by the President, and providing administrative assistance to the President and Principal Registrar.
The position requires a law degree or substantial progress towards a degree, completion of the Tasmanian Legal Practice Course at the Centre for Legal Studies, Hobart, or other practical legal training course approved by the Board of Legal Education, admission as a legal practitioner, and a full driver's license.

* Contribute to the Tribunal by providing legal and administrative support to the President.
* Make proper and accurate records of Tribunal proceedings including keeping electronic minutes of proceedings, recording and distributing orders or decisions.
* Undertake legal research tasks and projects as directed by the President.
* Provide administrative assistance to the President and Principal Registrar including co-ordinating listings, diary management, visitor reception, liaison with practitioners on behalf of the President, proofing judgments and decisions and other tasks of an administrative nature as directed by the President or Principal Registrar.
