Working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants, we are seeking a motivated Physiotherapist to join our friendly, community-based team.
About the Role
As a community-based Physiotherapist at PhysioCare you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to our NDIS and Aged Care patients in the community in Townsville. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals and contribute to the continued growth and success of our practice.
What you'll be doing
* Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory conditions in a variety of settings.
* Develop and implement personalised treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care including Allied Health Assistants who help implement your programs, allowing you to focus on assessment, planning and client outcomes.
* Educate patients on their condition, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
* Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest physiotherapy practices and techniques.
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
* Strong time management and organisational skills
