About the role
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment / diesel engines. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all plant equipment is in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and plant equipment.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, trucks and earthmoving equipment
* Ad hoc tasks as required
* On site servicing and maintenance when required
About You
This position would suit a candidate who possesses the following:
* Preferably HR / HC truck licenses preferred
* Must have experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and earthmoving equipment.
* Forklift / machine tickets preferred
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and accuracy
