About the role: We are seeking experienced administrative assistants to join our legal support services team to support Lawyers, Crown Prosecutors and other various internal/external stakeholders in our busy Sydney, Parramatta, Penrith and Campbelltown offices. Key accountabilities may include: • Provide high quality legal support to ODPP staff, Crown Prosecutors and other Counsel. • Maintain briefs, files, file notes and records of proceedings; organise witnesses, exhibits, meetings, diaries and conferences. • Liaise with external stakeholders including police, legal practitioners, witnesses and court registry staff to obtain and provide all necessary information and assistance. • Prepare court documents for prosecutions and appeals efficiently and accurately to ensure that all relevant information and documents are available. • Provide general legal support including registration and updating matters, drafting correspondence, photocopying, records and supply management. Please note that a talent pool will be created to fill ongoing and temporary vacancies for part time and full-time positions which may arise in Sydney, Parramatta, Penrith and Campbelltown offices over the next 18 months. About you: • Demonstrated significant experience in the delivery of clerical support services. • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills. • Excellent organisation, time management and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in the use of software packages with demonstrated capability in learning new computer applications quickly.
