About the Opportunity 
As a key member of the Site Services Facility Management team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of a variety of plant and equipment used in aluminium fabrication and associated industrial processes. A suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work independently and under pressure. 
What's Involved 
Diagnose and conduct corrective maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment with minimal downtime in a maritime environment 
Perform tasks in accordance with maintenance instructions and maintain accurate records in the maintenance management system 
Inspect work to ensure it meets all quality specifications and standards 
Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment as required 
Perform general duties while adhering to all site safety standards 
You'll Need 
Trade qualification as a Mechanical or Hydraulic Fitter 
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications 
Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills 
Confident in the use of hand and power tools 
Ability to assemble and fit mechanical parts and equipment 
Ability to inspect work to ensure it meets specifications 
Experience in recording and documenting results and tolerances 
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role 
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and protected work practices 
Proficiency in CMMS systems and general computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office) 
Ability to liaise effectively with supporting contractors (as required) 
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
High Risk Work Licences (e.g., Rigging, Forklift, EWP) and Working at Heights certification are advantageous
