Clinical Nurse Consultants are key professionals in delivering high-quality mental health services.
* This is a senior role within the Community Mental Health & Wellbeing team, focusing on strategic development and management of multidisciplinary teams.
* The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, effective communication, and ability to manage resources efficiently.
For this position, you will need:
* Experience in leading or coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including supervising and supporting staff as required.
* Demonstrated understanding of the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan and ability to contribute towards implementing the model of care.
* Leadership skills and ability to manage and coordinate clinical activities of a multidisciplinary community mental health team.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health services. The successful applicant will be required to meet the essential criteria.
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possess specialist tertiary graduate or post-graduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification; or completed, prior to the transfer of nurse education to the tertiary sector, an accredited hospital-based program that led to registration as a psychiatric nurse by the relevant nurse regulatory authority within Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or the United Kingdom.
