About the position
The La Trobe Communication Clinic's gender-affirming voice research team are looking for an innovative and passionate individual to help coordinate and contribute to ongoing research work. The role acts as a coordinator and central point of communication for the small research team, supporting work across a range of projects in various stages of development, with opportunities to contribute to the research process and planning of future research. This position is offered at either HEO6 or HEO7 level depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and act as the central point of communication for the research team.
* Support multiple ongoing projects across different stages of development.
* Contribute actively to the research process and planning of future research.
Skills and Experience (Qualifications)
* An undergraduate degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 4 years of subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in small teams.
* Demonstrated management and leadership skills with experience in leading staff and managing workflows to promote a cohesive team.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing several projects concurrently.
* Demonstrated skills in research, evaluation or interpretation of data.
* High level of self-motivation and personal management skills.
