Your Role in Aviation Engineering
* Design, test and install mechanical components and systems for defence applications.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety protocols.
* Install, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance and system reliability.
* Provide technical support, troubleshooting and continuous improvement solutions to enhance engineering excellence.
* Maintain accurate records, reports and technical drawings to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
The Essential Requirements for Success
* Cert IV or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
* At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the defence aviation sector.
* Able to work a standard day shift with flexibility for occasional afternoon shifts.
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail, a focus on safety and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Hold a valid Baseline security clearance or be able to obtain one.
* Exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical and technical skills.
* Able to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
