Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the maintenance and operations of our road network. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a proven track record in team management.
The Team Leader Road Services is responsible for coordinating road preventative maintenance activities, facilitating timely inspections and response to customer requests, and collaborating with Roads staff to optimize program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Road Preventative Maintenance: Coordinate the planning and delivery of road preventative maintenance activities, including grading and patrol services.
2. Customer Service: Facilitate timely inspections and response to customer requests through our Customer Request System and Road Management Plan.
3. Team Management: Effectively coordinate Roads staff involved in the operations of the Road Preventative Maintenance Program.
4. Innovation and Improvement: Work as a key team member of the Infrastructure and Delivery Department to identify efficiency and service quality improvements.
5. Planning and Budgeting: Provide input and assist in preparation for budget estimates and recommendations for annual road capital improvement programs.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications and Experience: Trade equivalent qualification in Civil Construction or substantial relevant experience.
2. Road Management Knowledge: Understanding of Road Management Plans and associated policies and procedures.
3. Leadership Skills: Previous experience in managing a team and balancing shifting work priorities.
4. Time Management: Ability to manage time and set priorities effectively.
5. Driver License: Current Victorian Driver Licence or state equivalent.
