The Senior Financial / Management Accountant | Wetherill Park | $130,000 - $140,000 + Super

The Position :
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on and broad finance role where you'll have full ownership of accounting and reporting functions. You'll be a key business partner, providing financial insights while ensuring compliance and accuracy across all areas of finance.
* Ownership and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
* Lead the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
* Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process with commercial insights
* Oversight of AP/AR and daily cash flow
* Manage all statutory compliance obligations, including BAS, GST, FBT, and corporate tax
* Mentor and develop a Financial Accountant while collaborating closely with the AR team to strengthen capability
* Being audit-ready and working closely with external auditors
* Driving continuous improvements across finance systems and processes
* Manage month-end close and deliver accurate P&L and balance sheet reports
* Support business units with financial reporting
* Assist with reporting for global stakeholders
The Candidate :
You're a confident, commercially minded Senior Financial / Management Accountant who enjoys partnering with the business.
* CA/CPA qualified
* Experience in manufacturing, wholesale or FMCG preferred
* Advanced Excel and strong ERP systems exposure
* Great communicator with natural leadership qualities and a proactive mindset
* You're curious, analytical, and ready to own it
