About the role
* Acting for major financiers on all forms of finance transactions, including project finance, syndicated loans, mezzanine funding, private equity deals involving debt to equity conversions and profit participation.
* Advising on banking and finance compliance and regulatory issues, and SMSF lending.
* Drafting standard loan and security documentation for lenders and National Credit Code compliance, and surety bond facilities.
The ideal candidate
* 4+ years PQE in banking and finance law up to Special Counsel level.
* Strong technical skills, proven experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.
* Confidence to manage files end to end and make sound commercial judgment.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and a solutions-focused approach.
* Immediate or short notice availability will be highly valued.
