Your Opportunity:
As one of our highly valued Technical Officers you will use your technical expertise and passion for sustainable agriculture to drive our composting process and soil carbon solutions as part of a growing technical team
Analysing soil samples and providing technical support, you will be vital to improved soil health and results for our clients. And you’ll help us on our mission to create a world where organic carbon is truly valued. You will be part of our lab team to manage the assessment of incoming materials and provide technical support to our operations team.
In this role, you’ll make a real impact by:
* Conducting laboratory and field-based analyses of soil samples, as well as managing and interpreting data.
* Preparing technical reports for clients and providing technical support when required.
* Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring quality control procedures are followed.
What you'll bring:
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A bachelor's degree in chemistry, soil science, environmental science or a related field.
* Knowledge of soil carbon and organic matter measurement techniques.
* Experience with laboratory and field-based analyses.
* Excellent data management and interpretation skills.
* Experience from working in other manufacturng sectors.
* Engagement with industry bodies.
* Motivated to improve worker OHS.
We would also love you to have:
* At least three years of experience in a similar role for the Senior Technical position and applications from industrial chemists, lab technicians and soil sciencetists for the Technical Officer position. Grauduates considered for the Technical Officer role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, so you can nurture positive relationships with our clients and your team.
* A passion for soil science and a strong desire to contribute to sustainable agriculture.
