Viva Energy Australia is hiring a hands‑on Full Stack Developer to join our Platform team.
In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented group of developers to design, build, and maintain applications that power our business operations. You'll work on exciting new initiatives, delivering secure, scalable, and high‑performing solutions, while also providing BAU support for production systems. Job Description
* Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the platform, including issue resolution, debugging and production support.
* Build and maintain frontend and backend components of the platform.
* Environment management.
* Implementation planning and cutover execution.
* Contribute to the technical design and system architectures.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code aligned with best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack.
* Ensure scalability, performance, and security across the platform.
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies and improve the usability of best practices.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
* 8‑10+ years of experience.
* Commercial experience in developing web applications using C#, .NET, and Web APIs.
* Strong capability across frontend technologies and frameworks, like Angular and Typescript, including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
* Experience in API integration development.
* Working knowledge of databases like Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, Cosmos DB.
* Experience in the Azure cloud platform or equivalent.
* Hands‑on exposure with versioning and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Git).
* Understanding of Serverless, Micro‑services and Container architectures.
* Solid understanding of an automated testing framework and secure code practices.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
* Technical experience in Node.js, Mobile Apps and development methodology would be favourable.
