AO3 - Program Support Officer - Government

APG is currently seeking 2 experienced AO3 - Program Support Officer for a 12-month assignment within a Government Sector based at Buderim.

Project Support Officer (AO3) – Delivery Support

Rate: $49.40–$54.81 + Super

Term: 12 months x 2 (possible extensions)

Location: Buderim QLD

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking two Project Support Officers to provide high-level administrative and project support within the Delivery Support team.

About the Role

You’ll assist Project Managers and teams in delivering projects efficiently, ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, policies, and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage document control systems, ensuring accuracy, version control, and secure access.
- Coordinate document workflows, approvals, and revisions to support timely project delivery.
- Administer and support electronic document management systems (e.g. SharePoint, DMS, InEight).
- Maintain records and archives in line with retention and legal requirements.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support—scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, reports, and correspondence.
- Maintain registers, spreadsheets, and stakeholder databases for project tracking.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain and clarify project information.
- Ensure all administrative processes comply with TMR quality and storage standards.

Hours

Up to 38 hours per week, Monday–Friday, between 7am–6pm (no overtime without prior approval).

Requirements

- Solid organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using office software and databases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
