This role supports education in Agriculture and Horticulture for Certificate 2 & 3, including delivery of short courses such as chainsaw and farm chemicals.
Responsibilities
 * Plan and conduct classes, using industry knowledge to bring context to the curriculum and deliver a valuable learning experience for students.
 * Contribute to the delivery of Certificate 2 & 3 in Agriculture and Horticulture and related short courses.
 * Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and achievement.
Qualifications
 * A relevant vocational qualification in Agriculture and/or Dairy Production (Certificate 3 minimum).
 * Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 (GOTAFE supports on‑the‑job completion).
 * Extensive industry experience (livestock, cropping and/or dairy).
 * Ability to work well independently or in a team.
Additional Requirements
 * A current Police Check (date of issue no more than 6 months prior to commencement).
 * A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application).
 * A current Driver's Licence (Car).
Salary and How to Apply
The salary range for this position is L1.1-L3.5 Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement.
