About the role
We are seeking an experienced senior receptionist in GP practice work with BEST PRACTICE experience to join our dedicated team at Tuart Family Practice in Baldivis, WA. This is a part-time position, with the opportunity to work closely with our healthcare professionals and contribute to the smooth running of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner
Scheduling appointments and managing the practice's appointment system
Handling patient enquiries and providing assistance as needed
Maintaining patient records and ensuring data accuracy
Assisting with administrative tasks and general office duties
Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to support practice operations
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical reception or customer service role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare professionals and colleagues
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Proficient in using medical practice management software and other relevant IT systems
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate patient records
A warm, friendly and professional demeanour, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
