Come join the team onsite at Stockland Halcyon Coves in Banya. As construction activity continues to grow, we have a permanent full time opportunity for a Leading Hand to support our site team and help get new homes ready for quality assurance inspections and new homeowner visits.

We Are Looking For a Leading Hand
Someone experienced on construction sites, confident working independently and as part of a close knit team, and motivated to deliver high quality homes for our customers.
What You Will Do
• Enjoy a Monday to Friday onsite role with an eight hour workday and the flexibility to start any time between 6.00am and 4.30pm, working closely with the Senior Site Supervisor
• Prepare homes for quality inspections and handover
• Complete scope gap items from other trades in preparation for client visits
• Conduct QA inspections and prepare lists for trades and contractors
• Organise materials on delivery and allocate to correct locations
• Liaise with contractors and support daily onsite coordination
• Maintain tidy and safe work areas and support general site clean ups
• Contribute to the presentation, safety and quality standards expected at Halcyon Communities
About You
You have experience in residential construction or similar and enjoy being hands on in a fast paced environment. You take pride in the quality of your work, enjoy working in a team and are motivated by delivering great outcomes for homeowners. You are reliable, organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks across busy days onsite.
Experience and Skills That Count
• Construction site experience as a Leading Hand or experienced Labourer
• A trade qualification in construction preferred but not essential
• Current White Card
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Your own PPE including steel caps and high vis; tools can be provided if needed
• Current drivers licence and reliable transport; tickets such as forklift or bobcat are ideal but not essential
