Job Description
Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Location: Cambridge.
Salary / Benefits: £24 k – £35k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst through to Lead Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
Profile: Our client is a leading name within the Asbestos / Environmental industry, and they work hard to provide their clients with a wide range of asbestos duties across educational, social housing and commercial projects.
Due to an increase in workload they are now looking to take on a qualified and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
The ideal candidate would hold the P******* qualification and will have extensive experience working within the asbestos industry on a mixed range of contracts.
Applications will be considered from: Peterborough, Huntingdon, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Kings Lynn, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Ipswich, Newmarket, Stowmarket.
Experience & Qualifications
Must hold the P******* or RSPH equivalent qualifications.
Will have good working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislations.
Will hold extensive experience working within the asbestos industry.
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
Carry out 4-stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
Undertake management, demolition and refurbishment surveys on a mixed range of sites.
Use information from site to produce detailed reports for clients.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
Supervise contractors on site and ensure that all work is carried out in line with relevant health and safety procedures.
