Our reputable North Sydney client is a boutique construction business specialising in high-end residential construction. Operating across the metro area and experience in all aspects of construction, you will be joining a team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals committed to providing the highest level of quality for every build.
**About You**:
We are seeking an experienced site manager / foreman who shares our passion for quality. You will be driven, possess natural leadership qualities and thrive in collaborative team environments. You tackle site issues with common sense and diplomacy via your great communication skills. You are a sharp thinker, thrive under pressure and great with people.
**The Opportunity**:
Your main objective is to ensure the smooth running of build projects and deliver on quality.
**Working Monday to Friday, your main duties will include**:
- Establish the site in accordance with relevant WHS requirements.
- Induct subcontractors and site employees.
- Coordinate the trades and sequencing of work.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labourers to ensure efficient and effective collaboration.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections and resolve any issues as they arise.
- Oversee all finishing trades on site.
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards, in line with specifications and schedules.
**To be considered for this role you will have**:
- Trade Qualifications
- Substantial experience as a Site Foreman or Site Manager within the building industry.
- A strong track record in architect designed residential construction.
- Experience or understanding of construction detail resolution.
- Excellent attention to detail, quality and finish.
- A strong understanding of construction sequences.
- The ability to think through issues and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to confidently communicate instructions to other team members.
- Professional presentation, strong organisation and time management skills.
- A willingness to work as part of a team and impart knowledge to others.
