What we are looking for: We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Administration Support Officer to provide efficient administrative and financial support to our Engineering & Technical Services team within Water & Waste Services. The ideal candidate will have strong administration experience, excellent customer service skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be confident managing competing priorities, supporting finance and purchasing processes, and delivering high-quality administrative support in a busy and dynamic environment What your day will look like: Administer the financial operations, including inputting of purchasing (POs) and processing and receipting payment of invoices. Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Engineering & Technical Services Group and perform administrative tasks to assist in the management of the office in an organised, efficient, effective and customer focused manner. What you’ll need for success: Certificate II or higher in Business Administration or similar, and/or previous experience in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in finance systems, with an emphasis on purchasing and receipting processes What’s nice to have: Experience in Experience in Technology One Enterprise Suite Experience in procurement activities Experience in Local Government administrative support and administrative management of systems such as WHS and Quality Assurance.
