The Rugby World Cup Australia Local Operating Company (LOC) is searching for passionate, motivated, and innovative Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team
The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading the full recruitment lifecycle for RWC 2027 and will be pivotal in in identifying and engaging top talent as we grow and scale our world class team This role will have the opportunity to partner with all areas of the LOC to hire high performing and diverse talent, streamline processes, and will recruit and manage a small talent acquisition team. They will also lead on our Tournament Time Staffing project, ensuring we have the tools and systems in place to recruit, onboard and engage our workforce who will support the delivery of an outstanding tournament in 2027

About the role
* Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising and sourcing, CV and phone screening, preparing interview materials, and closing offers
* Deliver an outstanding experience to hiring managers and candidates, providing quality communication on hiring and application progress
* Serve as a talent advisor to the business, reporting on market trends and candidate experience, whilst updating internal policies and processes to ensure our internal practices are reflective
* Devise and implement programs to optimise selection and assessment capability amongst hiring managers
* Manage our Applicant Tracking System (Success Factors), and make changes and improvement to processes where possible
* Lead on the Tournament Time Staffing project to ensure that we have the systems, processes and capability in place to recruit and onboard a bulk workforce in 2027
* Support with staff onboarding in the HR Management system
* Source using diverse channels to attract the best talent and ensure we are building a diverse and inclusive team with representation of people from all backgrounds and communities
* Collaborate with colleagues in People and Culture, Workforce and teams across the LOC, World Rugby and Rugby Australia on hiring governance, reporting and the resourcing and workforce plans
* Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives; constantly explore ways to make hiring better and improving our systems and processes
* Support in the development of our Employee Value Proposition to ensure we attract top talent in a challenging global marketplace
* Supporting with the development and delivery of our tournament outplacement program
* Recruit and lead a small talent acquisition team
About you
* You have extensive experience in a senior in-house Talent Acquisition role, ideally in a major sporting event or Entertainment environment
* You have a proven track record in delivering on hiring goals and demonstrated ability in sourcing and screening top talent in a competitive market
* You have a positive, 'can-do' attitude; someone who is friendly, flexible and delivery focused
* You have In-depth knowledge of the current candidate/talent market in Sydney, and working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) e.g. Success Factors
* You have proven ability to attract and hire diverse talent at various levels within the organisation
* You are an excellent communicator, highly personable and can build strong relationships with colleagues and candidates
* You are proactive and able to work independently, and enjoy leading and mentoring a team
* You are adept at working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, delivering work to deadlines and honouring commitments
* You have exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask

* 3 x core office days – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
* 2 x flexible days, where you can work from home if you prefer (Monday & Friday)
