Assistant Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our organization. This role involves supporting the daily running of the service, leading programming, and guiding a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting child-led, play-based programming
* Providing guidance to educators and supporting staffing needs
* Maintaining compliance and supporting administration processes
* Engaging positively with children, families, schools, and the local community
Requirements:
* A Diploma in Children's Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards)
* Demonstrated experience in children's programming and administration
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
* Familiarity with the National Quality Framework
