The Job We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join us as a farm hand. As an Orchard Farm Hand, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our orchard. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Harvesting macadamias, sorting and drying Assisting with tree health management Operating and maintaining farm equipment Assisting in irrigation and fertigation management Pruning, and caring for macadamia trees General maintenance and upkeep of orchard grounds Requirements We’re seeking candidates who meet the following criteria Previous experience in horticulture essential (orchard/macadamias advantageous) Previous experience operating farm equipment essential Hold a valid C-class manual driver’s licence Previous mechanical experience not essential but advantageous Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and bending Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work How to apply Just apply through seek, supply your orchard referee/s and answer our few basic questions.
