Due to continuous growth within the industry, Followmont Transport is currently seeking a new Sales Representative based out of our Mackay depot. The ideal candidate will drive Followmont's next stage of growth with a strategic and innovative business mindset. You will be responsible for identifying and prospecting new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and continue the improvement of our service delivery. This opportunity is key to our network and would suit a motivated, sales focused professional that demonstrates a high energy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
* Understand clients' transportation needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
* Driving new business within the Bowen Basion Region from Moranbah to Mackay.
* Build relationships while working closely with operations to create better whole solutions for our current and future customers.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure profitable outcomes.
* Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and optimize logistics.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitive developments, and market dynamics.
* Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives on a consistent basis.

Qualifications
What you will bring:
* 5 years' experience in a transport or logistics environment
* Exposure to sales and managing multiple accounts is required.
* Strong communication skills, especially when it comes to listening.
* A natural ability at building authentic customer relationships
* A strong work ethic without sacrificing your sense of humour or ability to have fun on the job.
