Project Overview
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha, Western Australia, run by Woodside Energy. The project is a key asset to meet global LNG demand as a transitional energy source.
Job Summary
As Craft Supervisor – Electrical, you will lead a team of craft professionals on the project, directing activities, scheduling work, and coordinating subcontractor activities to meet project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. This is a FIFO role working a 3:1 roster based in Karratha, WA.
Major Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and supervision of craft activities; direct and schedule work.
* Coordinate workforce requirements and operational plans.
* Monitor tool and equipment usage; oversee material requisitions.
* Ensure compliance with design documents, safety, quality, and budget requirements.
* Interpret engineering and technical documents with construction field engineers and subcontractors.
Education and Experience Requirements
* WA electrical license.
* 6‑8 years of supervisory experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Required Knowledge and Skills
* Permit preparation and Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out experience.
* Knowledge of temporary power systems, generators, and AS3012.
* Previous oil and gas experience is an advantage.
* Commercial awareness and working rights in Australia without employer sponsorship.
Additional Information
Work may involve extensive walking, ladder use, heights, confined spaces, variable shifts, and inclement weather. Lifting requirements vary. PPE is mandatory for all tasks.
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a major hazard facility; the site is non‑smoking and prohibits all tobacco products.
