I'm currently helping a client search for a
Senior Electronics Engineer
to join their product engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in both digital and analog circuit design and experience taking electronic systems from concept to production.
Role Highlights:
* Lead the full lifecycle of electronic system design: component selection, PCB layout, circuit population, and functional testing.
* Design and implement high-speed interfaces such as DDR3/4/5, PCIe, Ethernet (Gigabit+), USB 3.0+, MIPI, and other high-speed serial links.
* Apply core EE principles, including transmission line theory, impedance control, reflections, crosstalk, timing analysis, and power distribution.
* Collaborate with firmware/software teams to support hardware bring-up and debugging.
* Assemble and rework prototypes, with hands-on soldering, fault-finding, and troubleshooting.
* Utilize EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer) for schematic capture and PCB layout review.
* Use lab equipment like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, function generators, and logic analyzers.
What They're Looking For:
* Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
* 5+ years' experience in an established product engineering environment.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated hardware debugging and troubleshooting expertise.
Highly Desirable:
* Experience with battery-operated products and low-power design.
* Familiarity with EMI/EMC design and certification processes.
