About The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of individuals with disabilities by providing tailored support to help them live independently, engage in the community, and develop essential life skills.
Responsibilities
Delivering creative and engaging individual or group activities
Supporting clients in achieving personal and developmental goals
Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care and meal preparation
Providing in-home and community-based support to promote independence
Encouraging skill development through mentoring and positive role modelling
Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure high-quality care
Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with guidelines

About You

Transferrable skills and/or study in a related field
A strong passion for empowering individuals with a disability
Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with clients and their families
A valid Queensland Driver's Licence and fully insured vehicle to support clients
A valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
